The £3 the pupil adds on top covers PassReady's small fee and the card processing, with the pupil's total rounded up to the next whole pound; PassReady splits that round-up with the instructor, which is the extra 23p. No subscription app works this way: there the instructor pays the monthly fee, and usually the card fees too.

Cash and off-platform lessons are fee-free, so if an instructor never takes an online booking, PassReady earns nothing.
Optional card payments run on Stripe Connect Standard (the same system as Uber and Deliveroo), with payouts to your bank usually within 3 working days. Cash lessons are free and never touch us.
